On Eternal Life

"Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it.  It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.  I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.  He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said."

"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard."

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."

"Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us."

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it."

"I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life."

"I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."

My Decision

I realize that I have sinned and deserve God's judgment, but in His love God sent His Son to rescue me. Taking the judgment I deserve, Jesus Christ died on the cross to fully pay the penalty for my sin.  Therefore I place my faith in Jesus Christ, who arose the third day, and I receive Him as my Savior.

"The life of faith is not a life of mounting up with wings, but a life of walking and not fainting.  Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading."

Life with Christ is an ENDLESS HOPE;
Without Him, it is a HOPELESS END.

"But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence."
