Time to Update Your Estate Planning Documents?

If you have estate planning documents, how long has it been since you reviewed them? Your estate planning documents should be periodically reviewed by an attorney. The attorney will assess whether or not material changes in applicable law affect your estate planning documents, and at the same time you should determine whether "life changes" may impact your future planning.

For example, these life changes may all materially affect your estate planning:

  • births,
  • adoptions,
  • graduations,
  • marriages,
  • divorces,
  • deaths,
  • substance abuse issues,
  • moving to a new state, and
  • health challenges.

Please call me or contact me to periodically review your estate planning documents, especially if a life change must be addressed.
