Warning: Cell phones & Texas legislators don't mix . . .

Well today (March 13, 2009) is the last day to file bills for consideration in this session of the Texas legislature (don't you wish the United States Congress only convened every other year for about six months!), and the Texas House Transportation Committee will consider no less than eleven bills regulating the use of "wireless communication devices" (legislator lingo for cellular telephones). Who knows what will eventually be passed. But one thing is clear, our elected representatives are not happy with how we behave with them in moving vehicles! Stay tuned for further reports on the fate of "wireless communication devices" in Texas . . .
